This is our 4- or 7-hour intensive work session designed to get you moving forward fast. You’ll get one-on-one help on basically anything you need for your project.Think tackling your current design challenge or flushing out a new feature. We can even help you setup or kickoff a new project in this session.


Many would call this “consultancy”, but quite frankly, we don’t really like that word. Sometimes, we all need a little help from our friends. We prefer to see ourselves as members of your fellowship, bringing our design skills to the mix, together on a quest to create engagement. After all, one does not simply walk into Mordor.


This is designed to give you feedback and ideas you can start working with, fast. We channel MacGyver to find as many low-hanging fruit we can to solve the challenges you are facing and emphasize the awesomeness in your project. Assessments usually take us 12 hours, including intro and exit meetings.

our philosophy

There's a method to our madness.

We don’t believe in the “one-size-fits-all” mentality, so we always take a holistic approach to your challenge. We do believe in two core principles that guide our design philosophy.

It all starts with a solid foundation.

Make sure the goal for your audience is achieved before adding extras. Think of building a bridge. Clearly, having the bridge connect from one side to the other is the first step. Sure, it’s cool to add multi-colored responsive lighting in the hopes of creating extra traction, but if the bridge can’t be crossed, no one will use it. We feel every design needs to pass the “bridge check” in order to best engage.

Play is key.

Engagement is best achieved when users are given the space to play and explore. It’s still important, though, that they feel the comfort of structure and guidance. Great experiences let the user experiment and learn, but not get overwhelmed or lost. This is why we use methodology from games and play in almost everything we do.
